Description

The 2014 to 2016 corollas have plastic fog light housing with weak h16 bulbs that don’t output much light.
H16 is just around 19w in power rating. This is to keep the plastic lens from melting due to the heat from a hight wattage bulb.

We want to upgrade to 55 watt bulbs, but don’t want our stock oem lens to melt! This is where these aftermarket replacements come into play.
These lens are glass! They are rated to take 55w to 100w bulbs. If you want to run brighter lights for your fogs, then this is the right upgrade to take first.

I have used these bulbs on my own 2014 corolla to upgrade to glass lens. I ended up going with Truni yellow led bulbs,
which will require less wattage, but I was comfortable knowing too much heat would not melt my housings! Also, they last longer than the cheap plastic that fades.

These do come with h55 bulbs and I did use these bulbs for awhile before getting leds.
They will go out faster than namebrand, but this is a huge bang for buck upgrade and easy to swap new bulbs.
