Old Pictures of my Civic LX Coupe

My 2006 Honda Civc Coupe was my first successful car project. Although underpowered, it felt really great. Honda Factory Performance suspension and a rear Si sway bar (from 13 mm to 17 mm) made a huge difference. So much so I earned another speeding ticket! You can’t have any fun here in America without attracting the wrong attention.

Soon I changed out to steel wheels with Acura RSX base wheels. I loved the look and it still looked OEM. The HFP suspension wasn’t low enough, so I got used Tein S-Tech springs. I couldn’t stop buying parts.

Used Greedy TiC cutback, yospeed rear tow bar, hybrid racing shift bushings, and stop tech brake pads. I had one slow, but spicy Civic! I was getting compliments everywhere. I was also getting unwanted attention from muscle cars (who had something out for imports) and Mercedes Benz (have no ideal what these guys problems are). I’m always dealing with German Deutchbags that want to prove their dominance over underpowered non-si civics. Wow!

It was a nice clean car. Subtle and OEM like. The Greddy Tic angled up in the back so perfect. Also, had Password JDM lug nuts. Don’t recommend these on OEM Honda wheels. I used washers to get them to stay tight over the wheel. I used oem wheel lugs now.

Things are completely different now. Have a lot of work to do on the civic. I have to replace the block due a cracked engine block, power steering rack could use some work, and the suspension needs to be redone. The corolla I bought to give this one a break is also taking all my attention right now with its suspension upgrades.

I hope to make more content on my 2006 Civic and to restore it back to its former glory. With the current economic downturn and my struggles to find junior developer positions I have put my plans to swap a 2011 R18 engine on hold.
